The Skelerang Rune is a Bone-type Spell rune found by striking/killing skeletons with the Energy Strike throughout Ithos.
Effect
When used, Illyia summons a portal that fires a skull with a small ring around it. After going a certain distance, it will pause for a moment, then return to you. Should you hit it, it will fly back where it came from, but slightly further, then pause for a moment & return to you. Once you hit it 3 times, it will fly back faster, but it will not return to you. The skull deals 3 damage per spin, which happens once every .33(?) seconds.
Triva
- It is recommended to hit the skelerang back using the first hit of your basic attack or your forward-aerial, since timing the 2nd and 3rd to hit it would be far more difficult, and leave you far more vulnerable.
- If you want to use the 3 hit jab, start attacking the moment it reaches the apex of its distance.
- The skelerang cannot be hit with your up-strike or down-strike.
- When using the skelerang in a fight, make sure that you can reasonably stand still, or that you can time your swings to hit the skelerang. This can add some extra DPS to your fights.
